PADI EMEA Advanced Training Academy: Continuing Education for PADI Instructors

If you are an active PADI Instructor, or a dive centre manager who wants an excellent team, the PADI EMEA Advanced Training Academy offered by IDC Sardegna is the ideal programme for updating and refining your professional skills.

Why take part?

The Academy is designed to support active-status PADI Instructors who want to improve their confidence, efficiency and competence. Many of the topics are introduced during the Instructor Development Course (IDC); the Academy lets you go deeper and perfect them.

For dive centres the benefits include staff who are up to date and aligned with PADI standards, more confident instructors who deliver professional, high-quality courses, and a team that keeps improving the student experience.

Workshops and presentations

The Academy is made up of interactive workshops and presentations covering four key areas:

• Getting the most from the PADI Pros site: explore the resources available and use them to manage and simplify your day-to-day work.
• Running the PADI Rescue Diver course successfully: advanced techniques for guiding Rescue Diver students so that learning is safe and effective.
• Running the PADI Divemaster course successfully: refine how you teach the Divemaster course to deliver complete, high-quality training for future dive professionals.
• Risk management and PADI best practice: deepen your knowledge of PADI best practice to reduce risk and keep every course and dive safe.

Flexible and tailored

IDC Sardegna offers the programme in person or remotely, and the workshops can be split into one or more sessions to suit you, so every instructor can learn at their own pace and truly master the content.

Who can take part?

The programme is open to all active PADI Instructors (PADI OWSI and above) and is especially useful for new instructors who want to build confidence.
